Offering opportunities for learning, introspection, and connection with cultures from around the world, it is the region’s largest fine arts museum. The Museum is also home to the Edwin Binney 3rd Collection of South Asian paintings, one of the most significant holdings of such works outside of India. Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–6:00 pm Directions: From the north: I-5 S to Sassafras Street (Airport exit). Continue to Laurel Street (stoplight). Turn left and follow Laurel Street over the bridge into Balboa Park. The Museum is on the left-hand side (North end) of the plaza where the road dead-ends.
