A new exhibition opens every four to six weeks, offering a comprehensive perspective on the art being created in the San Diego region. The museum offers ArtBox 2, a program designed as a self-guided exploration of the exhibits to discover the many elements found in art and to stimulate communication between adults and children. A visit to the Museum of the Living Artist is your opportunity to see local artwork and support San Diego’s artists and art community. Be a part of what’s happening in regional arts today. Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm; Directions: From I-5 south, exit Sassafras Street, left on Laurel Street. From I-5 North, exit at Sixth Ave., turn right on Sixth Ave. and left on El Prado. From the East or West: Take I-8 to 163 South, take University Ave. exit, which becomes Sixth Ave., turn left on El Prado.
