The Chula Vista Nature Center is a living museum, focusing on the resources of South San Diego Bay. Animals exhibited are native species of fishes, birds, and reptiles. Guided nature and bird walks are available on weekends and during the week.  New in 2006:  The new Wergeland Family Discovery Center will open featuring green sea turtles and rainbow trout as well as many other animals.

Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm Closed: Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Years Day.

Trolley: San Diego Trolley stops at Bayside/E Street Station

Directions: Take I-5 south to E Street. At light turn right into parking lot.
