Animals exhibited are native species of fishes, birds, and reptiles. Guided nature and bird walks are available on weekends and during the week. New in 2006: The new Wergeland Family Discovery Center will open featuring green sea turtles and rainbow trout as well as many other animals. Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm Closed: Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Years Day. Trolley: San Diego Trolley stops at Bayside/E Street Station Directions: Take I-5 south to E Street. At light turn right into parking lot.
